No. You can use OpenCredits without creating an account. If you do create one, it lets you view your balance, usage history, and manage your credits from the dashboard.
Credits stay active for 365 days from the date of purchase. Any unused balance after that period will expire.
Unused credits can be refunded within 24 hours of purchase. Platform fees are non-refundable. To request a refund, contact us at support@opencredits.ai. Refund requests are reviewed at our discretion, subject to applicable law.

Each AI request deducts credits based on actual token usage — the number of input and output tokens processed, multiplied by the rate for the model you used. If the app applies a referral share, that amount is added on top of the provider cost.
Each AI request includes a small referral share that goes to the app that brought you to OpenCredits. This supports the tools you love and is already included in the credit deduction, there are no extra charges.
